harmony08
http://springfield.craigslist.org/ele/4973962317.html I'm thinking about this, but it would be a 400 mile drive there and back....
Moderators Youthman Posted April 12, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 12, 2015 If they were $150, I'm still not sure it would be worth the drive. They pop up too often for $300 - $400 to drive that distance for a pair

harmony08
Before I contact the guy, how are these going to sound with the 52 reference series speakers - I am not that well versed with Klipsch tonal quality and all that....? Currently, I have the 52 reference series surround... and vintage pioneer hpm 100's for the main - not Klipsch - they do sound good ( - = . I am planning on putting the Pioneer's in the back room.
Moderators Youthman Posted April 12, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 12, 2015 I use RS62ii for surrounds and they work great with my LaScalas.
Moderators Youthman Posted April 12, 2015 Moderators Share Posted April 12, 2015 If you are really lucky, you could find a pair of Heresy II for $25 in a yard sale.
OO1
hpm 100 is damn good speaker - heresy 2 have fantastic vocals - they bring out the details -
harmony08
Okay. I am ready to go to a yard sale. Just tell me when and where. I just hope I don't find a phonograph on a stone turn table.... with a bird beak for a needle...and the price would probably be bigger boulders than I could carry.
