Guest thesloth Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 I think Mark's upgrades are actual upgrades, not just exotic cap replacements for the cork sniffers I am fairly certain he has been adding active current sources to load the plates of the triodes, this adds excellent isolation against power supply ripple and even more important it linearizes the triodes in turn lowering distortion. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
