teaman
How would these sound as side surrounds?.....I have three RC-3 II's across the front and a pair of RS-3 II's for rears but I don't have anything set up right now for the side surround channels....at least I know they would timbre match everything
The History Kid
I'm using four RS-3 II's across the surround stage (thanks to oldred). I was using them initially as rear surrounds, and my 42's as sides - but the 3's seem to offer the same level of performance with a bit better when sounds pan front to back. I'm guessing this has to do with the size of the horn throat and the matching drivers in the rear. If you're using RC-3 II's, you'll have an entire setup with the same horn, the same horn throat, and the same 6.5" woofer. I bet the surround elements would be seamless.
