jimjimbo Posted October 28, 2015 Share Posted October 28, 2015 After reading several of his books, and articles in The New Yorker magazine, went to see him tonight at a performing arts center with my wife, daughter and son in law. Very worthwhile experience, as he is amazingly comfortable standing in front of 1,000 people, and talking about his books, family, life and travels with fantastic humor. If you could describe someone in a positive way as a "character" he would fit the bill perfectly. Check out his articles or books, they are really funny and worth reading.
