I started out with RS-52, then upgraded to RS-62, then a pair of RS-62ii. I can tell you that my RS-52's had no problem keeping up with my previous RF-83 / RC-64. It truly is a great speaker. The RS-62 sounds "bigger" but I personally didn't hear a night and day difference. The RS-62ii sounds identical to the RS-62....only difference is cosmetic (woofers look copper instead of bronze and rounded grills).
