Rivernuggets
I recently purchased a pair of KP-2000s and am looking for appropriate stands. How about these? http://www.amazon.com/Hola-HPS-200P-Adjustable-Speaker-Carrying/dp/B010SKTF1G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1456795838&sr=8-2&keywords=pro+speaker+stand This is my first purchase of pro Klipsch. Appreciate any thoughts you have.
rockhound
River I asked Colter the same question below is what he told me. I really like the Ultimate Support stands, they have this egg-shaped clutch that makes it simple and safe for one man to raise and lower the speakers. I think you can get them at local music stores or Parts Express. They also have the 1 3/8- 1/1/2 adapter so will work with any speakers/lighting trees. Rivernuggets
Thanks rock! Good to know about the adaptor. Wasn't sure if all pro speakers have the same size hole in the bottom or not. Did you end up getting some stands? If so, which ones and how do you like them?
rockhound
River I have yet to purchase any stands for mine. Once I get my outside patio screened in then I will. What did you end up getting?
Rivernuggets
Haven't purchased a set of stands yet and not sure about going that route. Been looking at some pro subs online that can have a pole out the top. Been browsing WAY long on this one.
rockhound
I made the mistake and ordered some of the ultimate support "adapters" for the T series poles. FYI the holes will not line up in stock form, I may get the dremel out and modify them if I can not find a suitable adapter. It says in the manual that the Omnimount 100 will fit but I cant find those.

Appreciate any thoughts you have. Those will work fine I used similar ones with my KP 2000's also the stands normally have both size's on the pole you just reverse the pole. These are the ones I have. http://www.amazon.com/Stage-SSP7900-Aluminum-Speaker-Package/dp/B00A2UZKLM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1461954217&sr=8-1&keywords=speaker+stands+on+stage Edited April 29, 2016 by kg4guy
Rivernuggets
...I may get the dremel out and modify them... My wife jokes all the time about me 'augmenting' most everything I purchase. If it doesn't work one must make changes and modify! Good luck. Glad to know they'll work! Do you still have your KP 2000's? Mine will be used occasionally outside. For bass I'm leaning toward having someone here make me a THT or F-20 sub. Do you think one of those would sound good in an outside setting? Should probably post this question in the sub section....
mustang guy
Look into a pro sub like the BFM T-30 or the Titan 48.
