If I am not mistaken, I thought I had heard there will be another LOTRs DVD

I thought that I had heard somewhere that there will be another release of the LOTR's DVD which will include the DTS format. Is this true, and if so, does anyone know when it is expected to be released?

I was about to buy it at Costco, but then I remembered the REAL ONE is coming out in November. You bet I will buy it. I haven't seen the movie yet, so I will get to do it in the comfort of my own home!!!

I heard on the radio this morning that there were going to be a total of 3 version of LOTR's first DVD? Anyone know if this is true or not?

4:3 - out now

16:9 - out now

16:9 with extra movie footage, total of 3 DVD's in this collectors edition - Out In November.

Ah... Didn't know that they released 4:3 and 16:9 on different DVDs.
