jimjimbo Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 I am unfortunately building a collection of K77 tweeters that have come from various sources, that are both bad and good. Bob Crites has told me that at this time, there are no replacement diaphragms available for rebuild that he would recommend for installation. I am not interested in installing other non-OEM diaphragms that Bob has tested, and does not recommend. Here is what I have: (2) K77 round magnet (alnico) - both read open (1) K77 square magnet (with Z bracket) - reads open (1) K77 round magnet (alnico), reads good (1) K77 square magnet (with Z bracket), reads good I would certainly be interested in purchasing OEM diaphragms from someone, in order to repair them myself. However, failing that, I'd like to acquire at least one good pair through trade of the above, or cash, or both. Please PM me with any questions/offers. Thanks. BEC Posted August 12, 2016 Share Posted August 12, 2016 Just got a bunch of the parts in the picture. This is the complete magnet assembly for the K-77F including diaphragm. So, you would just remove the horn from your K-77 or K-77M and put that horn on this magnet assembly. Works with the same screws you have in the K-77M, but for the round magnet K-77, you would need 4 8-32 1 1/2 inch screws.
