Legendary Witches Hat Mid Range Horn.

Couldn't find the One Channel forum, so I thought I would mention this here in Two Channel because it does involve a really nice horn! The item comes with some nice recordings as well {not Blue Notes but some pretty deep grooves), including one of my favorites. Very tempting. I am not sure if the bass response is all that tight tho.

Burning Man is one of those kookie California {hippie} events, and actually I have never been, but I do know folks who participate, mostly artists (David Best, a neighbor and others around here) who go to great length and expense to create sculptural temples only to be be burned on the final day of the fest. A very creative manifestation.

and here is another dangerous kookie minority opinion, which imo totally misses the point:

Hmmm.

Tom Horn may miss the point as you see it, but it does beg the question: How much of what he says is true?

On one hand you have a time of artistic self expression based on a theme.

On the other hand you have an event which draws some loons who are koo-koo (or is is coo-coo) for Cocoa Puffs.

So which is it? A little of both maybe?

The point is that anyone can go there and do anything they want. You could go there and do something, your very own thing, whatever it is. Everyone is a participant. Tom Horn misses the point (as would any generalizing non-participating outsider observer trying to grasp the ungraspable} because there is no particular rhyme or reason to the various creative projects that people erect for this event, they are all individual creative expressions, so to deduce the labels he puts on what he thinks he observed are really mostly demons in his own mind. The only validity to what he observes is the friendly commonality found amongst creative and artistic types of individuals, and to brand artists and creators with the negativity that he casts on it is nothing new, it is as old as organized unnatural religions and its consequential witchhunts.
