Took my Jolida up there and cranked Stones, Pink Floyd, Byrds, Asylum Street Spankers, and more into the woods to entertain the black bears. My son cleared a lot of trip vines and threw them on the fire which at its peak got a lot bigger than this, and finished the evening by setting off 800 firecrackers he knitted together. Doesn't get a lot better. Sunday dawned with a quite, dense fog and cold. But a pot of camp coffee and piling more wood on the fire made the day and our getaway a great way to start the new year.
