lockwoodlawncare
Hello, I just recently purchased a new surround system, and this has been some time since my old plug and play model Bose. I got a Yamaha RX-V681 receiver as well as 2 R-28F for the front, R-26F for the rear, and a R-10SW subwoofer. I see that there are 2 sets of posts on the speakers, are these to be wired separately to like front L, front surround L, or do I just install one wire from speaker to receiver? apparently there is a learning curve to get used to. Any help appreciated!!!
BernardLVH
One wire is all that is necessary. Make sure you don't mix up the polarity. Positive and negative or red and black.

USNRET
Nope just leave the connecting strap in place and you can pop out the caps if you use banana plugs.
