Pete H
If you liked the novel, you won't be disappointed in this movie at all. There's no way to completely cover a novel in a single feature film, which this does not attempt to accomplish, but the ground that is covered, IMHO, was covered well with some fine performances for sure. The portrayal of Pennywise, Richie and Eddie, were my favorite. I know it's opening weekend, so I'm not going to get into anything specific, just letting you know that I'm glad I went to see it in a theater. Denise wouldn't go so I asked my son in law if he would go and he did, even though he absolutely hates clowns which stems from him watching the original T.V. version of IT. I'm thinking about getting a few red balloons to strategically place around his home tonight!
Deang
Did IMAX for this one. The movie messed with my 13 year old son's head. Almost managed to rinse the bad taste out of my mouth from The Dark Tower, which was a total waste of film. I give 'IT' a solid 8. Already trying to figure out they're going to end the second movie without making it a porn film.
