gooseav
Hello all. I just inherited a 5.1 Klipsch RF7 system and looking for a receiver to power these bad boys. Total noob so any help would be great. Would like to spend around $1500 max. Thanks in advance.
Moderators Youthman Posted March 29, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 29, 2018 Denon AVRX4400H has been recommended by many in that price range.
willland
@gooseav, Welcome to the forum. IMO, get an $800.00 or so AVR with minimum stereo preouts and then a quality new/used outboard amp. The $1500.00 should easily cover both. Where are you located? Bill

Do you have specific models you’d recommend? The local store recommended Marantz AVR 6012. Thoughts?
willland
Get the 6012 and Outlaw 5000 and you are set. Again, my opinion. https://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/marsr6012/marantz-sr6012-9.2-ch-x-110-watts-networking-a/v-receiver-w/heos/1.html https://outlawaudio.com/products/5000.html Bill
dubs
Everybody will give you their opinion. Mine is go with Denon. I recently bought the 6400 for $1649, you should be able to get the 6300 or 4400 st a discount. Great for HT. Get the Reciver that fits YOUR needs. Best of luck. Also, I should mention I have a pair of RF-7ii’s and RC-64ii. Denon makes em sound great.
