Inexpensive Chip Amplifier

Recommended Posts

Want an inexpensive Chip Amplifier for testing speakers, prior to purchase.

Any recommendations?

Do not want to build.

Thank you.

I own one of these. Impressive tiny stereo integrated amp, a stereo rca to 3.5mm cable, and a mp3 player (or your phone) and you have a test rig. 50 watts per channel @ 8 ohm load.

I keep this little, cheap battery powered Dayton amp in my car just for the purpose of testing speakers at thrift stores, CL, garage sales, etc.

I just plug my phone in for the source.

Not much power, but enough to determine if all drivers are functioning.
