Ezekiel
I got the decoder to detect dolby digital on a DVD. But only off and on. Windows saying that PowerDVD is not responding. So when it plays in D.D. it suddenly changes to stereo. And at the same time it does that the movie hangs or freezes. Then it changes back after a few seconds to D.D. and the movie continues playing. It's a back and fourth thing until windows stops it and gives me that PowerDVD is not responding. Could it be that I'm using a trial version of PowerDVD? I know on their website it says 30 days trial,30 min video, and 5 min. audio. I don't know what they meant on that. Could that be my problem? hoonz
doesn't that mean you'll only get 5 mins of audio from the dvd? If that's the case I'm pretty sure that's the problem If the audio cuts off, the decoder won't be receiving any digital audio signals, so the display should read unknown or pcm i believe. tpg
I don't think that would be the problem, unless you know for a fact that you are using the trial version. When the trial exceeds its time frame, it simply stops and takes you back to the home screen. You should know if it did this.
