Mike Lindsey
He's also selling the K-22 woofers, K-55 squawkers and K-77 tweeters separately. From the looks of it, they all seem to be mint. I would have to think the cabinets are mint as well but don't know why he separated them... Mike
mobile homeless
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewItem&item=1395822992 Man, are THESE mint. Are the caps the same rating as the CW? I forgot what the different specs/settings were for the Heresy vs the CW in the Type E vs B. And the K-77 Alnico/K-55V Alnico horns-drivers look mint as well, just as you say. What a deal for someone in need here. Later CW owners might be interested in the drivers as well. kh
Mike Lindsey
The E's in my '76 Heresy's don't look too bad but nowhere near like this. I'll keep an eye on these but I'm sure they'll go for an arm and a leg, especially since you posted the picture, mobile. Mike
mobile homeless
HEh... yeah. I have to say, my CW parts look just as mint as these. I about died when I removed the back and saw my crossovers and drivers. It looked like a museum in there! At $600, it was a virtual STEAL. kh
NOZ
I think by parting these out, this guy/gal is going to make a fortune. Regular Heresys sell for approx $400 U.S. on ebay. Lets add it up after the auction.
Tom Mobley
yeah, those look exactly like the crossovers in my 77 HDBR's. Sealed cabinet, the crossovers stay nice-looking. When I get my LS's refinished and moved into the house I'm going to be where this guy is. I don't need the Heresy's anymore, no room for them, sell them for 400-450 or part them out for more, maybe quite a bit more? I wouldn't feel good taking those things apart, I'll tell you. I bought them new in 77, I managed to hang on to them through several life disasters and changes. It will be interesting to see what all the parts go for.
