zorguz Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 Hello! What A/V Receiver should i get for RP-8000F so that the treble is not so high? Was thinking to get 5.1 or 7.1 receiver for future upgrades. Quote
willland Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 @zorguz, Welcome to the forum. Not sure what size room you have but I would get at minimum an upper midlevel AVR from one of the major brands, Marantz, Yamaha, Denon, etc. Bill Quote
Ceptorman Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Like Bill said, there are quite a few to choose from. Are you wanting Atmos also? Quote

Ceptorman Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 A 7.1 would allow you to add rear and side surrounds if you wanted to, and a sub. Most modern AVRs will have Atmos, you don't have to use it though. Most AVRs do have some type of EQ or tone controls to lower the treble if you like. Accessoriesforless is a good website for audio gear, are you in the US? Quote
Tom Walkers Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 (edited) I recommend reading the article https://downhomedigital.net/receivers/best-atmos-receiver/ where I got acquainted with the Yamaha CX-A5200 I have been using it for 2 months already, high clean, the device is gorgeous!
