ANDREW1211
Hi, Gerome the cabinets were built by one audiophile/ woodworker in Ukraine. He have built a ton of cornscala speakers(you can even see one more pair on the back of mine). So i let him to build bass section based on his experience with crites 1526. I can ask all the details if you want. This is made of birch plywood and covered with walnut veneer. Top section and crossovers was fully my plan, he has different point of view. i will use alk CSW-450 later. The initial plan was to use ap12-400 and es 5800, but a few guys told me that cheaper version is more melodic and less audiophile. p.s. will receive them in 2 days, can’t wait) with best regards, Andrew
Gerolamo M
You must be so excited Andrew! Yes I’ve heard similar in regards to the crossovers. The 450 will sound better at lower volume apparently. The ES sound their best at higher volume, which is good for me as we like to crank it up in my house pretty regularly, plus I have larger than normal room with very high ceilings. Let me know how yours sound when they arrive mate. I’m excited for you! 🤘

Well still haven’t been able to get near them for completion. I’ve had some major renovations to my house so have them on hold. Hope to get to them soon. Will promise to post pics when I restart the project. Take care.
