wuzzzer
So now that I figured out my new (to me) Integra receiver I'm trying to figure out how to get the best audio from it. I have my UHD player's HDMI audio out connected to my receiver so I'm good there. But, I'm wondering about my 4k Roku. Right now I have it connected to my TV via HDMI and then the audio is sent from my TV's optical digital output to my receiver. Would there be any benefit from using an hdmi splitter so I can run one HDMI cord to my TV for video and the other HDMI cord to my receiver for audio? Do streaming services even offer lossless audio like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-Master? The reason I'd have to do it this way is my Integra receiver is older and doesn't support 4k video. wuzzzer
Nevermind. I just looked it up and streaming services don't offer lossless audio. Guess I'm good as-is then.
billybob
Yes man. Mixed bag dealing with the bay. May suit you after awhile. Using another remote for volume, etc. Unless you can rehab the remote for unit. Feel like you know this already but, after looking at the Roku, you may get down the road apiece till you find another unit. Local craigslist a good place to offload it, or other. Cool...
