brian e Posted January 1, 2003 Share Posted January 1, 2003 I have a pair of Cornwall I's from 1985 with the B3 cross-over network. Is their nominal impedance supposed to be 4 or 8 ohms? JohnA Posted January 1, 2003 Share Posted January 1, 2003 A Cornwall will vary from a low of about 3.8 ohms in the bass (the woofer is 4 ohms nominal) to around 60 in the midrange to 10 or so in the tweeter's range. I'm curious, at about frequency is the acoustic resonance of the woofer in the Cornwall cabinet and what kind of load impedance does it present there?
