LOADEDTUNES
Any links to past posts on this topic ? I was thinking of matting my horns , but wondering if matting the inside of the head section was worth doing as well.
J M O N
Do not put any Dynamat on the INSIDE of the horn.
Istari
Actually, HDBR has suggested that there is a substance you can apply on the horns that is similar to the coating on tool handles. I have seen it at Lowe's and there is a spray can version and a quart can of the stuff. It would require that you take the horn out of the cabinet to apply (spray or brush on)the stuff. It looks like it will peel off easily if and or when someone wanted to remove it. The brochure on the product states that it comes in black. I'm going to try the stuff on my '79 Khorns and if it works, on the rest of my vintage Cornwalls and Heresys.
JohnA
I stuffed the tops of my La Scalas with polyfil. It clearly reduces a ring when you wrap the top with your knuckles.
