Karl Johnson 69
Hi I have been told to put an L pad on my custom speakers, the hardware is Klipsch SF3 crossover with the horn, but I have swapped the 2 x 8 ich for 1 x 12 inch. Its a bit lacking in the low end, I was told to fit an Lpad to equal their sensitivity? How do I wire the Lpad in? do I connect it to the wires going to the horn? henry4841
Just like a volume potentiometer. The main thing to remember is the center pin goes to the driver or speaker. Reverse the outer two pins and the L-pad will work in reverse.
Peter P.
Either you need a better designed speaker, or have you considered an equalizer instead of an L-pad?
