Pair of Klipsch Heresy WO Vintage Speakers - Sequential Serial #'s $1,200

Up for sale are these very loved 1978 Heresy speakers with sequential serial numbers (57S637 and 57S638) in an oiled walnut finish. They look and sound great. Please look at the photographs as these speakers are 45 years old but are in very good used condition. I am the 2^nd owner, the original owner’s son gave them to me but did damage the top of one speaker, I have repaired that damage. Speakers upgraded with 5-way binding posts and new caps purchased from Bob Crites. Bob worked at the Klipsch factory and told me that these speakers were the 637^th and 638^th off the line in 1978.

I am also selling a Klipsch Academy speaker I used as a center channel with these Heresy’s. The Academy has an upgraded “K-Stacked” crossover. They sound awesome together.

I also have two custom 24” Lovan Speaker Stands that fit the Heresy’s. They are filled with buckshot and have spikes to couple them on the floor and add height and bass.

Thanks Tinnitus! Here is a shot of another repair job we did on the side. I cut a piece of veneer and lightly sanded it in to blend. I've had these speakers for so long now, I forgot it was there. I'm having second thoughts about selling them, but they are primarily used for home theater, and they never truly fit in my set up.
