joeward Posted July 5, 2023 Share Posted July 5, 2023 I've been searching for information on different amps to try with Klipsch and the B&K ST 140 is one that many folks recommend. I had a chance to purchase one and since it arrived I've been listening to a pair of Klipsch RF 3ii's driven by this amp. This sounds wonderful with these speakers. The B&K supposedly doesn't do well with under 4 ohm loads but the RF 3ii's have a pretty benign impedance curve. The twin 8'' woofers really came alive with this amp and the horn response on top is really, really smooth. Sounds like a whole different speaker system than it used to. Easy.....very easy to listen to over hours of time. No harshness or listener fatigue. I love this thing and it was really inexpensive.
