robforst1
I just picked up an antique sound labs tube amp today (MG-SI15DT). It puts out 5 watts in SE mode and 15 in Pentode mode (with the flip of a switch). I set up a 2 channel system in my home office with a pair of Heresys and my denon cd player. The system sounds awesome so far... Rob
lynnm
I think you will enjoy that amp. I love my AQ1003 DT but had I heard the MG-SI15DT first I might just have gone with it because it is a few dollars less expensive and having A/B'd them since I would have a hard time choosing between them. Having the option to switch between PP and SET would probably be fun also.

mobile homeless
Get the speakers up off the floor about a foot and pointing toward where you are seated or lying down....about 6-8 feet apart and you will hear some real nice sounds. Also, good tubes in that little amp will improve things dramatically. Down the line thoughts. Nice. kh
robforst1
What variety tubes would you recommend? How would it change the sound? p.s. I just pointed the speakers upward by putting a book under the front of the speakers (they are about 6 feet apart).
