QTklipsch
What kind of sub should I get? I have a denon 3803, Fronts RF3II, Rear RF3II, Center RC3II, Rear Center RF3II. My budgets is enough to get dual svs ultras or lower.
dblue
Go with the Ultras. They'll compliment your system perfectly, for music or movies.
TheEAR
For the dollar there is nothing short of DIY that even touches the Ultra.Lets get real here, the money goes to the AWESOME woofer, and the cabinet uses a small fraction of the total price. You pay for performance with SVS. As much as I like my Velodyne,Sunfire,Aerial,Klipsch and Revel. You pay for the cabinet(well not Sunfire, their cabinets cost peanuts),and custom electronics.Drivers take under 20% of the sub cost(well again the Sunfire you pay a good chunk for driver and amp). The Aerial cabinet gobs mucho $$$$,the driver would sell around $300 no more, the Revel B15 woofer around $400,the Sunfire active passive 300 for both the woofer and radiator, the Klipsch probably around 350-400 for the RSW15 woofer and passive radiator if they were sold in large quantities. With SVS,and the Ultra the driver is by far the most expensive, not the cabinet. You get maximum performance for your dollar.
