Hoju
i have read that its best not to toe in bright speakers. the mains should be pointed straight forward. This is regarding to any bookshelf speakers. Do these methods really make a difference or not?
Stephen328
Heres the thing man, If you cant tell a difference, Who Cares?? I mean it really all is about your ears. I find toeing in my Rf-3s brings out the treble, but thats just a personal opinion. I end my commnent the way so many previous ones have, Let your ears decide. Oh yeah and enjoy! marksdad
sometimes you need to listen with your ears, and not to too much direction, when it comes to placement, the only person you need to listen to is you, what sounds best to you? TheEAR
Yes you should toe in horn loaded speakers. If someone can't hear the change them they should just sell their Klipsch(or what ever speakers they have) and buy a pocket AM radio with a beefy 2.5" fullrange. The change is drastic, even with dome tweeter equiped speakers toe in does help. WIth horn loaded speakers the change is massive, horns project sound and off axis performance is poor with horns.Toe in...you bet
Hoju
thanks ears i did toe them in and i heard a huge change in sound compared to leaving the speakers facing forward. i guess i'll leave them that way for now on As of now i'll keep experimenting on how much to toe in.
