First of all very nice set up you've got there. Im very jealous.
Not to be to picky, but in the second pic you say the woofers are moving, and they appear to be, but clearly the LEDs on all three subs are red. Just something that was bothering me.
Hell yes. RF5s are a whole step up from RF-35s. 35s were designed to replace the RF-3s. RF-35s cant touch RF-5s. And besides RF-5s look sooo much better. Yes, I am bais, but RF-5s are great speaks. Good luck!
Welcome back. Sounds like you had fun. I'm going on vacation to Colorado on Tuesday, hope we get a chance to talk before then. I've been working on an amp (12 Watt monster). I finished one channel but stupid parts express sent me the wrong size capacitor, so I have to wait until I get back from vacation.
Now the next time a Best Buy employee tries to tell me that all CD players sound the same i can drag out my diatribe for even longer. At least 2 hours. Actually I did find this thread quite interesting. Makes me want to buy an SACD player, or an Record player. Prehaps I should keep typing for severeral hundered more lines just to maintain the status quo. On second thought, maybe I won't.
I looked into getting RP-5s, very nice speaks. Personally heres how I would wire them: Purchase an RCA splitter to hook up to the Subwoofer out on your reciever, then just run 1 cable to each RP-5. I can't tell you to much about line level or base contour controls (I got out of the reciever market with little intention to return). Good luck with your RP-5s, they are great speakers and I hope they serve you well.
