prodj101
well anyway, with my new listening room, I'm getting some problems with a frequency spike around 70 hz or so maybe and it's driving me mad. I want an EQ that will be able to get rid of this without adding ANYTHING to the original signal. no colorations and what not. one of the rane ones maybe? I'm lookin at around 500 tops from an unauthorized or authorized dealer.
jt1stcav
Look at both dbx Professional, Carvin and Alesis...they're more affordable than a Rane, and just as good if not better (heard some mixed reports about Rane products from those in the industry). luchenbach
I have heard some good things about the behringer professional products. They make a product called the behringer feedback destroyer, that has multiple parametric equalizers, and can be purchased for less than $150. I am looking at buying one myself. For information go to www.snapbug.ws/bfd.htm G-

djk
Get a used McIntosh MQ104. Its better than all the others mentioned, will cost about the same used, plus it'll look so cool next to the Mac amp.
