Deang
Say like -- put the tweeter on the 8 ohm tap, and the woofer on the 4 ohm tap?

Deang
Sounds like the best idea is to give this idea a quick burial. You know me Craig -- always trying to push the envelope.

djk
You can get away with this on RF7s. I doubt if you will like it as it will make the high end play 3dB louder than it does now. As to the load reflected to the plates, they will now see a higher load (work less) than they did when you had the speaker wired to the 8R taps with the jumpers in place. You might try this the other way around, woofers on the 8R tap, tweeter on the 4R tap. This would make the speaker less 'bright' sounding by lowering the level of the tweeter by 3dB. I would also try bi-wiring with both sets hooked to the 4R taps.
