kenratboy
http://www.adireaudio.com/home_audio/electronics/AQ1003DT.htm Looks like a good amp. I really need an integrated amp and it having a sub output is a huge plus for me. ANy thoughts?
mike stehr
Go for it, that thing will rock your world. And it has sub outputs, that's a nice option.
Dflip
For a new amp at a reasonable price, it is a good buy. I was looking at one before I bought my Scott from Craig. If my memory serves me right, Kelly had one of these, or at least a version of it. No major complaints, although the iron (transformers) were not in league with either a used (antique) Eico or a Scott. They don't have a sub output, but do sound wonderful. I just spent twenty minutes sifting through my binder, but didn't come up with Kelly's exact comments, but did find the iron reference. Craig does a great job fixing up either a Scott 299B or an Eico. Ask him for his advice. I have heard the amp with a pair of micromonitor Totem minis. It sounded very good and 30 W in a tube amp will rock and efficient Klipsch set up.
lynnm
I have this amp and enjoy it very much. It is a real powerhouse with my KLF30's. The picture on the audire audio site is outdated (that is exactly the same version that I have). Here is a link to an updated picture. Unlike the older version shown at the audire site it has a built in bias meter and has a sub output: http://www.divertech.com/aq1003dt.html You could do a lot worse. As for the iron I have seen theses trannys and I think they are the equal of a lot of higher priced units. Those things really are huge and very heavy.
