mark1101
I am interested in some La Scalas marked LS FB TG. They are black with grills. What do the model letters indicate? Also, they are serialized quite far apart from one another and the start and end dates on the labels are about 4 days apart on the start dates, and 6 days apart on the finish dates. The owner bought them in 1990 and has all the original packing and written material indicating they were a matched pair when purchased new. Can anyone provide any info as to if this all sounds correct or usual? Thanks
Frzninvt
LS = La Scala FB = Finish Black TG = Grill ? I know the G is for the Grill but not sure on the "T" Should not be a real big deal if the S/N are not consecutive since they are finished in black and the wood grain match would not be an issue. The entire S/N would indicate the actual year of manufacture. They should have K-77M Tweeters, a K-55M Squawker (Midrange) and the K-33E woofer and the AL-2 or AL-3 crossover. Hope this helps you a little bit.
