Identify K-Horns Please

That means the squawker (midrange) K400 horn is made of cast aluminum, which was typical of that time period.

I paid $1700 for my 86 Khorns in Oak. It all depends how close they are to you. Shipping is expensive, they weigh 167 pounds each, and how badly you want them. i think that $2500 is at the top end of what I would pay.

Later units used the 401 horn which is made of plastic composit. It was designed by Don Keele. A man of great talent. Current units probably use it.

The seller is probably implying that the the 400 is better than the 401. That is not something which I'd worry about.
