NOSValves Posted July 26, 2003 Share Posted July 26, 2003 I say do it. I also say the amp should be rebuilt those 45 year old caps have allot to do with the overly thick sound the amp produces ! I personally think my Mark III's could spin circle's around that amp and believe this is mostly do to the old caps ! The amp has some real punch and the detail that try's to come through I just think the old caps are holding the amp back in a big way. I have some people here and you guys on the forum to hopefully help if I get into a jam. In the meantime, the scott just keeps sounding better and better so I certainly won't be missing the tunes.
