dalewg
Can you tell from the S/N which woofer is used in my Lascala's and how would I gain access to them? S/N's are 2M438 & 2M439. I've seen posts saying there is a panel in the botton of the bin, but I do not have that.

mungkiman
Do the tops of your LaScalas have screws holding them on? If so, your access for the woofers is from the top instead of the bottom. You would have to remove the tops and the horns and the networks to gain access. I believe your LaScalas are from '74 and may have the K-33-P woofers. Marvel
Dale, Most of the LS people have mentioned here are put together like this: http://forums.klipsch.com/idealbb/files/ls_k.jpg If the bottom of your doesn't come off, see if there is a cover over a the top part of the "doghouse", the section the woofer is in. If this is the case, as mentioned above, you will have to remove the horns and all to get to the woofer. Marvel
