Hello,

Can anyone tell me a good Klipsch center channel that would match a pair of Epic CF-2's? (I don't believe they ever had an epic series model).

Current or previous model center, whatever matches well... If you have a suggestion could you please post specs?

Thanks..

I have the CF-2's as well (you don't see too many people that do) and just purchased a KLF-C7 for mine. I think the CF-2's have a sensitivity of 98 dB SPL @ 1 Watt/Meter whereas th KLF-C7 comes in at 99 dB SPL @ 1 Watt/Meter. The crossover on the CF-2's are 2200 Hz and the C7 is 2000 HZ. Bear in mind, I haven't hooked this up as of yet since I still don't have my Denon 4800 receiver. I can't tell you how it sounds together but have been told by others that it's a nice combination. I hope this helps...

Mike

Mikekid,

Any chance you have individual specs on the speakers used in the KV-4.

K-64-KN 2" (5.08cm) Tweeter

K-1035-KN 8" (20.32cm) Poly cone woofer

I am going ot see if I can find substitutes for them in order to build my own KV-4.
