ECKamoretto
i used to listen to music with the volume all the way up and the klipsch speakers no higher than 52. now for some reason it's too low and i have to go up to 70 to get it as loud as i used to. could my speakers be dying out? I haven't had them for too long cuz i recently got my replacements
IndyKlipschFan
You said... I used to listen to music with the volume all the way up and the klipsch speakers no higher than 52. ??? Wow I am confused here.... Do you mean you used to listen to the speakers with your volume on your amp turned all the way up? If so?? What do you mean with the Klipsch speakers no higher than 52??? DrWho
if the speakers still sound "normal" (other than the lack of volume), then i would suggest that your problem is probably in an amp or pre-amp or something like that...what components do you have in your system? also, what volumes are for which parts? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh need more info btw, welcome to the forum
GooseChaser
It's possible, but did you recently update the driver of your soundcard, or replace one? Make sure all the connections are in place.
mungkiman
Hopefully it's not your ears!
ZAKO
Its possible you might have excessive wax accumalation in both ears. Have a docter check this out.
ironwoods
Hey, mine only goes to 11! So the new ones don't play as loud as the old ones? And the new ones are the same model as the old ones? I do try to limit my wanting of loudness to 1/2 way on the volume dial. It helps to keep distorsion down, which could be the reason you have new speakers. spacelord2002
That post of yours is a bit strange! What do you mean the speaker is on '52'? And you play them with the volume turned all the way up? Amazing! I've only had mine up a little over half way and the windows were shaking.
