johnpbc
What's the question? A little pertinent information of what you have and what you are trying to do, might get you some of the assistance you seek. Good luck.

Cut-Throat
arfandbark, Welcome to the forum! Here is my Input - I would not buy a H/K receiver. I go with a 2A3 or 45 SET amp and a pair of Klipsch Heritage speakers. I'd also get a Blonde girlfriend - preferably a member of the Swedish Bikini team. A bottle or case of the best cabernet that you can find and live happily ever after. That is the best input I can give you!

leok
I find a 3.5W 2A3 SET is a good match for my RF-7s and Chorus-IIs. I listen mostly to Classical, chamber orchestra or smaller. For very loud stuff like monster pipe organ and/or large Orchestra playing very loud .. I bump the power up to a big 8 Watts. I don't listen real loud ever. In movie theaters and rock concerts I use earplugs. Leo
