My budget allows me this much only and I couldn't go higher.

I am choosing between the 2, please help decide which one to pick. What are the pros and cons of one against the other ? Which is better in terms of performance, sound quality, durability etc ?

Any input will is truly appreciated.

To be honest I audition them both at Ultimate. The RC-35

had a much fuller sound but was as not clean (defined). The

RC-3II was alot cleaner but not as full. I chose the RC-3II

but I probable would be happy with the RC-35. What main

speakers are you using?

glennbarn,

As you can see most of us agree that the difference between

the RC-35 and RC-3II are minimal. Either one would sound

great. I would listen to them both and choose which one you liked

and got a good price for. I think I paid $290 for the RC-3II.

Good Luck

Thanks everyone for your input.

I'll be using the RC-3II or RC-35 as a center with my RF-15 for now. Eventually, I'll move the RF-15s to the rears and grab either the RF-35 or RF7 (if my budget permits).

I'll visit my dealer this weekend to see which is better. Thanks you all for spending time to share your thoughts.

After spending a good number of evenings at our local Tweeter store flipping back and forth between the RC-3 II and the RC-35 I personally choose the RC-3 II. It to me gave a much cleaner sound whereas the RC-35 provided a much more 'Live' sound which I simply dont like. If you can find both at your dealer flip between them a number of times as there really is a BIG difference.

Also, I dont know if others have found this but I found that the older 2001 Reference serial speakers sounded better then the newer 2003 series and they are getting hard to find. I *JUST* got my RS-3 series II surrounds today and they are almost impossible to find now.
