sheltie dave
From the listening chair. OMG, who took everything! You can imagine how easy it would be to build this!

sheltie dave
The finished surfaces have some black paint flecks in the patina. It just adds charm to Shorty.

LarryC
Boy, does that bring back memories! The drivers and the crossover with those big air-core coils and that classic 15WK look to be in outstanding shape. How do you like the mid-range? I recall it with special fondness. Easy to see how you made the astute observation that Khorn58's early Cornwall had morphed from a Shorty.
mungkiman
Dave, where did you end up finding the grill cloth, and can you post a closeup? Thanks.
sheltie dave
Cris, this is the original grille cloth with the wire threading. I want to change over to the pseudo cane cloth from Wendell Fabric, so give me a shout if you want this material - I would be happy to send it to you! I wish I could find an original supply of cane cloth, but I have had no luck with trading or buying it, so I'm going to call Wendel in a week and order the new stuff. fini
She's gorgeous, Dave! I'm surprised Liam han't latched on to her... Chris, I always thought your avatar was a picture of growth rings on an end-cut of a piece of lumber. Boy, was I surprised when I took a closer (and larger) look! BTW, I'm sending all 40 Domes! mungkiman
Dave, I'll pass on the grill cloth, but thanks for the offer. Fini, my avatar is a postcard of the inside of the La Scala Opera House. La Scala was being renovated when I was in Italy, so I settled for a postcard. Let me know what I owe you for the domes!
