norcuron
Hi All, I wanted to post a couple of pics of my set-up. My weakest link is the 35" Mitsubishi that is 12 years old. I have this huge sound, but small screen. I like the new SVS more and more each day. We have been talking a lot about the Chorus IIs and SVS lately, so wanted you guys to see what I have been working with. Mark

Klipschfoot
If the wife wants window coverings, you are missing the best thing about HT.

Center the TeeVee in the cabinet Center the C7 in the cabinet Center whatever is on the C7 The Chorus's are not happy The built-in wall shelves are completely useless now Now, buy your wife something nice for Valentines Day... norcuron
The TV is centered in the entertainment center. The problem is that we owned the entertainmanet center in our previous home. Unfortunately, there is not enough room on that wall to make everything fit and still be able to use the bookcase. The house was new when we bought it a year ago and as most know there is a lot to do with new houses. Window coverings are next.
kenratboy
Very nice. IMO, a bigger cheap (but not trash) TV is better than a smaller nice one. Your brain can fill in the picture better than sound!
Bartdude
Or, just do as I did. Build your entertainment center around your speakers I still need to have the top piece built but havent gotten around to it yet. I debated a equipment rack but couldnt decide on which I liked and how it would look so I designed my own and had a friend build it.
T2K
Looks nice to me Mark. Bet it sounds good too. The white S-6's really look good on a light wall. Can hardly see them. Keith
mbajner
norcuron, really a nice setup. see my sig. very close to your setup as far as speakers. I really like the S6's for the rear. looks like you could not get a much bigger TV in the unit. window treatments are a must to cut down on reflections. mbajner
one other comment. try pulling the sofa off the wall a little bit. maybe put a sofa table behind it. wifes like sofa tables. they can put things on them. pulling the sofa off the wall should improve the sound. try it. you can always push it back. norcuron
Thanks for the input. I had all of the lights on in the room, probably should have had a few less on for better pics. Mark
