vandec54
HELP!!!!! I want to purchase a pair of RS-3II's, but i can't seem figure out how the hell i am going to get them 5-7 feet off the ground and pointing at the side of my couch. Is their a type of stand built specifically for that model? Thanks.

rscotth
The RS-3II should be just like the RS-3 I have and I have them mounted on the wall on either side of my listening area and they come with mounting hole on the back of the speakers. Just a few good anchors in the wall and your set. No need for stands, unless you're restricted on locations.
Johnny TN
5-7 ft stands would look horrible anyways
vandec54
I am apartment living right now, so drilling holes in the walls for brackets is out of the question. what if I had a nice looking 4-5 foot stand to place them on. Would they sit stationary on them, or would they rattle off?
om13934
They should sit just fine. I have my speakers mounted, but a friend of mine bought some omnimount stands that look great and are about 4.5 ft. tall. They have spikes that go into the carpet and a nice clamp that holds your speaker in possition. No rattling off there!Check out this link. http://www.omnimount.com/product.asp?p=
space_cowboy
Just mount them on the wall, they only require two screws per speaker for the keyhole mounts. Just use decent anchors and screws. Mine are mounted like that and aren't going anywhere, very solid. The apartment shouldn't be an issue, when you move and take out the screws there will only be four anchors flush with the wall. I'd go that route rather than buying stands and taking up more floor space.
