Deang
If you have a big room, I mean a really big room -- an all Heritage HT would be nothing short of incredible. However, I don't think nearfield HT with LaScalas and Klipschorns sitting on your lap would sound very good. There is such a thing as "too much". Parrot
Dean is absolutely right regarding room size. You can't stuff 5 Klipschorns in just any old room and expect decent results--they need breathing room. Heritage definitely is not the answer for all situations. wheelman
Can i get an amen. I agree, finially some people agree that bigger isn't nessesary better. Especially if you need your power port to breathe. You will need to figure the depth of your speaker. I sit like eight feet from my speakers. I had big old jbl's northrige with two ten's in each they were really tall. They tilted forward because my floor was uneven. They also sounded horrable because they were so muddy sounding and not much of a good imaging happening. I sold them to my friend who has a larger living room and now they sound great. You may get better results with a bookshelf speaker than a tower depends on the room. To bad we couldn't take the whole store home to check it all out.
Darren
You always "think" it's enough when you buy, but a few months later there's another must-have. HT - more addicting than smoking?
