Wardsweb
A friend of mine has a Klipsch KPT-684 with his LaScala's for home theater. Anyone familiar with this sub? pro use?
Frzninvt
It is good for commercial applications but lacks any real output in the 35Hz & below range that a true subwoofer can operate in. In terms of sheer output in upper bass frequencies I am certain it has some punch to say the least. The same holds true for the Cerwin Vega Horn Loaded B-36 subwoofer. IndyKlipschFan
The KPT-684 in a club, or with live sound applications is an outstandng sub. It is a pro model.. but like many in HT here will say in a home environment it neither will go down to 20 htz + - or is very user friendly. Needs a cross over, probably an EQ, separate amp... etc., etc. Now outside, when your playing jams, while BBQ ing.... THAT'S another story!! And the half drunken crowd yelled, "FREEBIRD," as they toasted the sky!!
