chronoch
For some reason, I don't have sound coming from speakers when I play CDs. Other than that, the rear speakers work perfectly in all other settings. Do I have to hook up something special in my computer? I know there's a CD audio line running from my DVD player to my soundcard, otherwise I wouldn't be getting any sound when I played CDs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Paragon
In the surround mixer for you SBLive!, make sure you have CDAudio selected for the RECord. If you have your CDROM connected via a digital cable, select CDDigital hope this helps.
iXtreme
I have an SB Live and when I listen to CD's everything is fine till the CD ends and goes back to track one.... then the rear channel goes out. All I do is push stop and then play again and all is better, maybe this may be your problem?

wegland
well what you need to do is set your environment setting in your sound blaster to MP3/Listen Audio, then everything will be just fine...music will come out from all 4 speakers.
