ptony619
Does Klipsch make any towers with built in subwoofers? I know someone who says they have Klipsch towers with subs built in. I don't think so. I think he has imitation Klipsch speakers with built in subs. I would like to to set him straight because I don't think Klipsch makes them and how should I break the news to him? Thanks in advance. michael hurd
They did sell reference models with built in subwoofers, the rp 3, and rp5 models. They can be seen by going to the classics link on the website front page, and then the reference series. They were built from 1999-2001. jdm56
They also had the KSP series, probably from a little earlier than the period Michael gave for the RP's. In fact, for a brief while, the KSP-400 (300?) was the top of the line, Heritage excluded. It used a pair of 6 1/2" mids flanking a tractrix-loaded tweeter, in a m-t-m array, with a powered 15" sub built into one side.

PhilMays
I don't think any of the RP line was worth a hoot though.
