laikadog
Cripes! That brings a tear to the eye. Those babies were made to be listened to, not put behind glass, so to speak. Sigh...
Erik Mandaville
OMG! What an incredible collection and treasure! Just amazing. Thanks for providing this great link! I hope you don't mind if I forward it to someone who would also really appreciate it! Erik edit: 'Local' wouldn't be in TX by any chance, would it?! I wish it was, because I would love to see all of this in person!

thebes
Maybe I'm wrong, but I presume he uses at least one of them, or does he use a 1990's clock radio. Since the beginning of the year I have acquired 2 tube amps, and six ss amps/receivers (shootout review coming soon). For the ss amps it was to put them on display in basement to fill up a cubbyhole that needed something in it. For about thr price of two museum posters, with wooden framing I got the six pieces o fnice looking gear. However, they won't just sit. About once a month they'll be swapped into one of my two systems for a slightly (and sometimes dramatcialy) different sound for my listening pleasure. The best of both worlds to me. jazman
Quite a colletion! A great addition would be several listening rooms where one could actually swtich in some of that hardware for auditioning. Did anyone notice the poll on the home page? Klipsch out.
