Deang
It is going "clip, clip, clip" -- it's just doing it really fast. SET clipping doesn't sound like push-pull clipping. When a push-pull begins to clip, you can't get to the volume control fast enough it's so obnoxious -- and when SET begins to clip, you really don't notice it. The Wright's for example, go from soft and smooth, to pinchy and a little hard on top -- and I have to damn near crank the knob all the way around to get to the obnoxious clipping. The pinchy/hard stage isn't near as bad as the jackhammer clipping the QUADs put out. Of course, by the time the QUADs get to that point, it's loud enough "to knock the snot out of your nose". Deang
That's why I put it in quotes. That is a great line isn't it? I think I left part of it out though -- wasn't there something about it "flying across the room", or something like that?
