brentutk
I just bought a pair of rb-25's at a store that was discontinuing Klipsch(can you imagine?!). They were half price and thus I didn't do a lot of research. They can handle 75 watts continuous and my Yamaha receiver outputs 80 watts per channel. Do I need to worry about damaging these speakers? gcoker
Not at all unless you typically play your music or movies at full volume
yromj
Lemme guess, you got them from Now Audio/Video. Well you picked up a fine set of speakers for not much money. You will damage your ears long before you damage the speakers, unless you crank it and run away. John
brentutk
Yea, I got them at Now Audio/Video which is now Tweeter. At 98 bucks a piece I couldn't pass on them. I live in Knoxville Tennessee and since Now audio sold out, my closest Klipsch reference dealer is in Waynesville, NC. I just can't believe it. Not a single Klipsch dealer in Nashville OR Knoxville Tennessee. So I should be fine with that wattage as long as I don't play them too loudly? meuge
I think you shoult be fine regardless of the volume, if the space you're trying to fill isn't too big. I had 25s in my room and they could get deafeningly loud.
