neomartic
Currently I just have a set of Ultras and an added sub. I'll soon get some rb25s but I was wondering what a good center channel would be for this system. I plan to keep using the Ultra to power the front l/r and the center, but was wondering what center I should get. I plan on eventually just getting a receiver and having an actual HT, but for now (because of budget constraints) I'm just powering things by the Ultra. So... with that being said, what recommendations can I get for a center channel that will be paired with rb25s and the Ultra amp/sub along with the Dayton 10"? STL
It seems extremely obvious that the RC-25 would be the best match for those RB-25s. What you have for rears and sub don't have any bearing on what you should use as a center.
neomartic
I was thinking that or the RC-3ll. Do you think the Ultra is strong enough to power the RC-3ll? Or probably stick with the RC-25?
yromj
How about another pair of RB-25s? It would cost $120 more by MSRP pricing and you get another speaker. If not the RBs then the RC-25 would be the best choice. John
neomartic
I'm looking to just get a center channel to compliment the rb25s. I don't need another 2 speakers, just a good center. RC-3ll or RC-25? keep in mind this is going to be powered by the Ultra. at least for a year.
itsmyforte
remember that whatever speakers you get, that ultra amp will roll off the low end very hard, i'm not sure how well that ultra sub will integrate with the RF bookshelf line. though when you get a proper setup you'll love it.
